• Why am I being told that I do not have insurance if my policy is active?

It is possible that the agent and/or insurance company might not have sent the current proof of coverage. Please have your agent update their records with the mailing address that appears on the notice you received.

• I don’t have current insurance, what will happen if I don’t purchase insurance?

If you do not purchase insurance coverage as required in your loan agreement with us, we may exercise our right to purchase insurance coverage on your behalf. The coverage we purchase will be protecting our interest on your property. If we purchase insurance on your behalf, coverage may not protect your equity on the collateral, might not cover personal and/or business property, might not meet certain state liability coverage requirements, and will likely be more expensive than if you were to purchase coverage from an agent of your choice. The cost of insurance we purchase on your behalf will be passed on to you.
